My dog has responded very well to this collar. She no longer pulls. A professional dog trainer fitted the collar to her neck for me. What I thought was a correct fit was actually too big. Once 3 of the links were removed, the collar worked great! I wonder if the people who had difficulty actually did not have the collar fitted correctly. If it is too big, the collar will pinch together and potentially pull out hair or encourage the dog to pull more or ignore it completely. I wish it came in various colors other than just blue.

With the StarMark collar our 8 year old dog, Sasha, has learned how to walk again without pulling! Every spring/summer we have to spend hours working with her and reteach her to not pull. My parents have a similar product and their Dog walks perfectly without a leash! We tried the collar on Sasha and instantly she was walking better! My neighbor often takes her for walks and has notice a difference, she even told us of one time when she put the leash on the wrong collar, realized it because of Sasha's pulling, switched collars and she immediately started walking like a good girl again!

This is the second StarMark training collar we used and it works great. Our dog is a runner and he spends most of his time off leash, so he was never trained real well to walk on a leash. We have tried the choker chains and they don't prevent him from pulling and only seem to hurt him when he tries to bolt. With this training collar he doesn't pull on the leash and if he does get tempted to run after a squirrel he is gently reminded it ain't going to happen! Easy to adjust and since it is just like wearing a collar our it doesn't bother our dog like those halti type of harnesses do.

We ordered two of these clickers to train our new puppy and they are great. Both are made very well, are very sturdy and produce a consistent click with every press of the button. I was worried that one clicker may sound a little different than the other, but I have been very pleased with the product.

This product is truly a nice value. Other than not supplying a wrist strap (they would have to charge more) the only problem is it occasionally gets stuck in the on position and is hard to shut off. I use a letter opener to pop the button back out. A key works sometimes too. To do this you need some sort of slender, pointy object like a scissors or a knife. After that it works well again. It's loud enough and the button makes it much easier to use than the clickers I've used in the past. Plus it fits nicely in the palm of my hand, though I did add a wrist strap to make it even more user friendly.
