This really worked for us. Not for keeping away dogs but as a training tool for my dog. I don't click it just to click it . I click it when I want my dog to stop barking or when I can't see him in the yard and he will come running. I have bought another one just to give away, I liked it that much.

I have three dogs. One is a German Shepherd/Rottewiler mix and the other two are Miniature Dachshunds. Needless to say, there is plenty of barking going on around our house. My husband wants to get the dogs shock collars to control the barking, but I find that to be cruel, not to mention expensive. After seeing a late night infomercial for a similar product I started doing some research. I didn't even know this type of product existed. The one on the infomercial was about $20.00 plus shipping and handling. In reading reviews, this product received higher marks then the infomercial one and cost about half the price. So, I figured I would give it a try. I have been using it for about 4 days now. I am very surprised about how well it works. If any, or all, of my dogs begin to bark, I just hit the button and instantly they stop! It is nothing short of a miracle if you ask me. The best thing is, I have already noticed my German Shepherd/Rottewiler mix doesn't even start barking as often as he used too. It's kinda funny because you will see his head perk up, and his body start to rise, then all of a sudden he will lay back down and just stare at me. When before, he would have been off running through the house barking with the other two. Although, I do have to admit one downfall. I feel bad pushing the button when only one or two of them are barking because it makes all three of them jump. It's almost like the sound frightens them. I am hoping with continued use the other two will follow in my German Shepherd/Rottewiler's steps and just bark less all together.

Oh, and I also wanted to mention that some of the other reviews I read said that humans could hear the noise. No one in my family (me, my husband and three boys) are able to hear any sound. Maybe the ones they received were defective.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has an issue with dog barking.

I have two chihuahuas and need a very absorbent pad. I used to order wonderful pads from another company but they substituted this thick, absorbent pad with a larger, but cheaper, less absorbent pad so I came to Amazon, read reviews for this pad and ordered a small pack of the extra-large (approximately 23 x 36). They are great! However, they are really too expensive to use all the time so I use one for overnight and one if we are going to be away for most of the day. I use regular pads bought from another source for the rest of the time. I wish these were more economical, we would like to use them all the time. I will continue to search for a more economical superabsorbent pad (if there is such a thing). I gave these pads 4 stars, but would have given them a 5 if not for the price.

I've tried a number of different brands, and I think these are by far the best pads. My puppy likes and uses them, they are very absorbent, the filling doesn't bunch up inside the pad, and if my puppy ever decides to rip up the pads, this doesn't result in white filling all over the house (these rip somewhat more neatly into strips). You could probably avoid the ripping issue altogether by getting the tray you can buy with these (though I haven't tried it).

The pads were small and a little expensive. I say expensive because I found peepee pads at my local grocery store for less money, there were more pads per package and the pads were larger. The pads I ordered from Amazon were of good quality it just boiled down to price.
