I bought these steps so my dog could get onto the bed. I have hardwood floors and the steps have a tendency to move when the dog uses them. I bought a piece of rubber to put on the bottom and it seems to have corrected the issue. If you have rugs then these steps will work well.

I needed something for my aging cat that would help her get up and down off the furniture and bed. The steps are very helpful, but need to be one step taller. I think it should come with it, but you have to order the 4th step separately. The nice thing was that the assembly is easy and the sheepskin cover fits nicely without slipping. I recommend it for small pets and elderly pets that need help so they don't jump down and injure themselves and can get to you to cuddle on the couch with ease. Both owner and pet will benefit from the steps.

Steps are very narrow at top and the sides are very weak and unstable. I tried every trick I could think of to get my miniture dachsund to use them but it just wasn't going to happen. Do to the cost of return shipping I gave mine away, maybe they will have better luck.

I ordered these stairs and were shipped to me only covered in heavy plastic. When I opened the top of the package, the top stair was cracked and several pieces were broken off. I did not open the rest of the package, since I was returning it immediately.

I taped the top of the package and returned it to a UPS store. They could not believe that this product had no packing protection. It was easy to see how the damage occurred. I did get my refund, but I was extremely dissatisfied with this company that couldn't spend additional money to make sure that their product would arrive in its intended quality.

Perfect height for the couch would likely be too short for the bed. We wanted this for our old dog to be able to get onto the couch without help. Took him weeks to trust it but now he gets up and down with it. If isn't too big either so doesn't take up as much space as some of the steps I have seen. Ample size steps, not too narrow. Carpet will pull off for cleaning if needed.

Our 21 lb. Schnoodle just recovered from ACL surgery. She injured herself trying to jump UP onto our couch. These steps are great. It took only three days for her to get used to them. She had no trouble at all climbing up the two steps; however, it took her a couple more days to get used to using them to get off the couch. We also ordered the three (3) step Pet Gear for our bed. Again, she took a few days more to get up the courage using them to get off the bed than climbing up. She now uses them all the time. If your pet does not take to it immediately, do NOT get discouraged. Be patient and help your pet ~ we coaxed her with her favorite treat ~ cheese! PLEASE NOTE: There are two (2) different sized 2-step Pet Gears. Be sure to read the dimensions and choose the one that will work well with your couch. We chose the Easy Step I Pet Stairs instead of the Easy Step II (the Step II was too high for our couch). The Step I is slightly shorter than our couch, but works great! Also, they require minimal assembly. They are made of durable plastic and are more than sturdy enough for our 21 pounder. Highly recommend; sure beats a trip to the VET!
