My first Poop Patrol scooper broke when I was cleaning out my garage a few months ago and I panicked because I bought this so many years ago and it is the greatest product! Fortunately other people thought so too because I was able to buy it again so many years later. I have 2 large dogs and an extreme distaste for cleaning up after them, but with this tool it is easy and painless and keeps you far away from the disgustingness. Good for all types of terrain too, has deep jaws so you can get down in the grass/weeds, whatever. Highly recommended!

When I was a kid, one of my chores was to clean up after our two Australian Shepherds with a couple of little garden shovels. I had to get up close and personal with the poop, wore thick gloves etc. With this jaw scoop thing I don't have to get anywhere near the poop; I don't even have to bend over near it. The serration on the jaws handles pulling out even the toughest, grassiest piles, leaving the other hand free to hold a bag or bucket or whatever. And while I wash my hands afterwards, they don't ever get within 2 feet of a turd or anything making contact with a turd.

For the money, I don't think you can beat it. It's basically one of those reach extenders with a pair of metal scoopers on the end. The grip isn't the strongest but more than enough for what it's for. If you're using it in deep grass, you might run into issues. The only other thing is the scoops have spikes on them, you can imagine what ends up getting caught on them. All in all, a great product.

It does pick up some grass as well but is far superior to the Jumbo Jaws my husband picked up at Petsmart which is big but only effective picking up poop from a flat surface like a sidewalk or street. For the backyard it is worthless - so the Super Scooper claw came to the rescue!!!

No leaking per the normal use I've put these bags through. The price was right for me and I couldn't get out to the store due to the recent blizzard. These are the best-separating bags that I have used thus far. Normally with the products I have used every tenth bag or so will rip when trying to tear it from the roll, thus becoming unusable. Very wasteful. These bags tear at the perforation VERY easily, without any real effort and with no destruction of the bag. This for me is the reason why I intend to start using these bags exclusively. I hope to find them in-store to reduce the carbon footprint, but this product is enough of an improvement that I will continue to order from Amazon if I must. The packaging was also somewhat firm so the rolls weren't dented at all in the shipping process, another plus.

Only thing I would wish for is that the 315 bag package be able to be purchased with free 2-day amazon prime shipping. It's the best deal, but I went with the 120 bag packaging for the free (and fast - i was nearly out of bags!) shipping.

First, let me say that picking up your dog's mess is never pleasant but these bags make it better. I have ordered these bags twice now and will continue to use them indefinitely. They are thick enough so you don't feel like you are 'touching' it and I have never had a bag that had a hole in it like other brands I have used. They slip over your hand well and do the job. The only thing I wish is that they had handles on the bags. I have used bags like that before and it is a nice touch but it's not the end of the world. Anyway, I would recommend these bags to anyone with a dog that makes a mess, which obviously, they all do.

These are excellent bags and I use several of them every day on my walks and when running my big bird dogs in the back yard. The little white strip on top makes it easy to find the opening. I've been using dog trash bags for many years and these are the best ones I've found. Personally, I just put a roll in my pocket and don't bother with the various dispensers that are available.
