The dog crate works great, it's airy and open, and gives our dog room to move around. Having 2 doors gives us more options to position the crate in a room or car. I have 2 smaller size dogs, 10# & 15#, and it is big enough to keep them together during the day.

It's bigger and heavier than I expected, but strangely it has a flimsy feeling. Some of the hooks fell off, and I'm still trying to figure out how to put them back on. The latches are misaligned, so it's difficult to lock on some. Then other latchers are aligned, and doesn't have the tight fit, so my dog just paws at it, and flips it up... soon I'm sure she'll figure out how to open it. For now it works as an indoor crate. I don't think I use it outdoor... too heavy for me to lift and I wonder if I reassemble, will it be aligned again or will I be stuck somewhere outside trying to fix it.. arrgh.

Puppy loves her crate. The best part is the divider (once you get it in place). I am crate training now so it is good to have a smaller space that will keep puppy from voiding in her den, and to later be able to move the divider as she grows so that I don't have to buy a new crate later.

I would suggest buying or borrowing a small carrier though as this crate (medium) is not suitable for travel in most cars (unless you have an SUV).

The divider is a bugger to insert and move around, but once in place it's great. The crate is almost fully assembled when it comes. It unfolded and was together is about a minute or two. Took about 15 frustrating minutes to get the divider in place. GREAT first buy for new furry friends.

Oh, btw, picking the right size was the biggest headache when considering buying a crate. There is a really good sizer on [...] I have a rat terrier and she will go from puppy size (about 2.5 pounds at 8 weeks) to full grown (about 17 pounds and about the same length and width of a Jack Russell Terrier) VERY comfortably in a medium sized crate.

We needed the next size for our one year old lab, and this is perfect. Enough room to stretch and stand. It is so easy to travel with. We camp often and it takes seconds to fold it down and reopen.

Not as well built as Midwest's earlier (discontinued?) 70XBK series which had thicker wire, tighter spacing, and virtually indestructible.

MIDWEST Universal Crate Casters(2Pk)-The MIDWEST Universal Crate Caster is designed to fit most wire crates by attaching to the intersection of any two cross wires. The casters provide portability and ease of movement with easy rolling, locking casters and come packed with two casters in each blister card. Why two per pack? MIDWEST suggests that you use only four casters on crates 30" or smaller, however on crates 36" and higher six casters maybe neccessary inorder to support the additional wieght.

The casters were received fine. However, I misread the pack size and thought there would be 2 packs of two wheels. Therefore, I have been unable to use the wheels on my dog's crate.

We move the dog's crate back and forth between the bedroom for sleeping and the living room for daytime hanging out. adding the casters onto the crate saved my back! we don't have to pick it up anymore. we just roll it. Awesome. so glad I bought these.
